Schallander in Luneburg

We tried the delivery service. All in all really great the specified delivery time was right and the food arrived hot, not many delivery services manage that. Really great taste. Gladly again

Preferably zero stars. Cocoa was plow water with cocoa flavor and we had to wait an hour for the bill.

Very nice staff and great food! Different beers on tap only the mulled wine was a bit thin. The next time we visit Lüneburg we will definitely be back!

The kitchen is the best! I really recommend the burgers, they were really good. Also the waiter are super kind and always checked up on you. You don't have to wait long to get your order. The price is good, go and enjoy.

We stopped there to have lunch. The food was delicious and fresh. We opted for a burger and a pan with vegetables and pork medallions. Waiting time was very short. We sat right by the water downstairs. The atmosphere was very nice. The young man who served us was friendly and accommodating. However, the service in general could have been more present in the station, so we later decided against dessert because no one came and we got cold. Hence the point deduction. Apart from that good !

2 stars are max. - The pork tenderloin was roasted dead and doused with ready-made hollandaise. My wife's chicken ultra dry - for sure not again

Of course tourist hotspot and accordingly jam-packed. Even so, the young waiter was so committed that we felt very welcome. The rest of the service was impeccable and the food and drink were delicious. Tip top

Have come to Schallander for many years. Today I wanted the pasta with "light" tomato sauce. It was completely oily and fatty. Our complaint was responded to by informing the cook. The latter stated succinctly that he would have gotten too much oil in the sauce today. The bread that went with it was also forgotten. But we were allowed to pay for everything, including the additionally ordered side salad. Quite shabby towards the guest and not customer friendly.

Except for the view zero to recommend .... food cold, tasteless, loveless ..... waitress super unfriendly and annoyed ... had an amount of .., 30 € and got no change back ... so after The motto: Tips are a matter of course ... once and not again ...

In the middle of Lüneburg a very nice restaurant with a nice outdoor area and terrace right on the water ... The service was mega friendly and brisk ... The small dishes were delicious 😋

When we are in Lüneburg, a visit to the Schallander is a must! So this time too .... As always, we liked it ..... Service always friendly despite a lot of activity ... Food and drinks came quickly ....... and we also liked it very much! Until next time :)

Seldom experienced such nice service, small menu, but something for (almost?) Everyone. Food absolutely delicious.

A nice place, actually. We were looking forward to delicious food and ordered from a young man at around 7:50 pm. At 8:45 pm our meal was still not there. So we asked a young lady who said that there was no more food because of the rain. And that the colleague may have forgotten to tell us. But we ordered before the rain and guests who ordered after us got the food before us. We spoke to the young man about it and said that he had forgotten us and the other young lady said that there was no more food. He said that was not true and that there was still food, etc. Conclusion: pure excitement. We then left without food.

Extremely delicious home cooking and yet there is something for everyone around it! Excellent service and everyone has a smile on their face. Keep it up and see you soon! We will come to you again from Munich!

Picturesque view and quick waiters. The food is unacceptable. Old, hard meat and even potato was not fresh. All day felt bad in my stomach. I would recommend to order only drinks here.

Very fast and professional service, climatic place, delicious food

Rustic restaurant with a beautiful outdoor area and terrace right on the Illmenau with fantastic views of the old town. Especially in the outdoor area on the street, the place is "optimally utilized". The extensive menu is mostly good-bourgeois. Everyone should find something here. The portions are generous. There was nothing to complain about. The service is fast and very friendly. Despite the high visitor numbers quite clean. Only the menus "stick" something.

An excellent restaurant with friendly, courteous staff who greeted us at lunchtime (opening hours from 10:00 clock) with funny words. The food came very fast and tasted great. The location directly on the water (Ilmenau) is especially recommended in summer. An all-round successful lunch and a highly recommended restaurant.

This is a pup in the middle of the best part of town: the Ilmenau Port stinkt. Here you could sit with a beer and have a nice evening looking outside

The food is always very good, the Lüneburger Fassbrause highly recommended. You can eat the lamb very well here. The service is usually very friendly but sometimes there is a lack of attention. You can sit nicely by the water and the toilets are clean. Lately at breakfast unfortunately went a bit wrong, but we still come more often, because the dishes are really very recommendable.

Hugo tastes like toothpast. Went there for the nice view. Unfortunately it doesn't compensate for the horrible tasting Hugo Cocktails (5,60€). We were so shocked that we decided not to order anything else.

Food and service good, outside you sit right across from the old crane on the water.

The Schallander is a traditional bar and diner. Frequented by locals and by students. Trying their " Gemüsefrikadelle " is a must, as that is a traditional dish of the Schallander. The service is quick and friendly, the music is loud and good, the local beers as expected
